Joanne is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has a Masters’ degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a specialty in art therapy from the Adler Graduate School.
Joanne believes healing is best accomplished when the therapist and client work together toward balance of mind, body, and spirit. She uses a client centered humanistic approach, cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, psychodynamic perspective, mindfulness activities and art therapy to assist her clients in achieving their goals.
Joanne sees children 6-11 and adults 20 and older. She has experience with various diagnoses including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, bipolar disorder, ADHD, Grief and Loss. Joanne has a special interest in working with couples with relationship issues struggling to stay connected. blended families, and issues related to adoption.
Joanne spends her free time with family, creating pottery, drawing, and enjoying the outdoors.
We are located near the intersection of Zachary Lane & Weaver Lake Road in Maple Grove. We are easily accessible to those in the surrounding communities of Osseo, Rogers, Plymouth, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Champlin, and Minneapolis.
