Krystal is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She is a recent transplant to Minnesota and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychological Science and Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ball State University, in Muncie, Indiana.
Krystal has worked with a variety of clients during her time in the mental health field, including children, adolescents, college students, and adults. She has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, in a variety of settings, and has extensive experience providing biopsychosocial assessments, diagnoses, individual, group, and family therapy. Krystal is skilled in providing therapy for those struggling with eating disorders, body image concerns, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and general life stresses and changes. She enjoys working with adolescents ages 12 and up and adults of all ages. Krystal uses an eclectic approach to therapy, integrating cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, and motivational enhancement as her primary focuses, but includes other techniques, based on client preference. She believes in meeting her clients where they are in the therapeutic process, allowing for a safe, relaxed, and comfortable environment in which clients can be challenged to take steps to meet their goals, embrace change, and have a life they want.
When not at work, Krystal enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog. She is a fan of music, all things Disney, completing craft projects, and spending as much time in the water as possible.
